An accident has sent a Tulsa woman to the hospital. Police say the woman was north on Sheridan about 5AM Thursday when she ran a red light.

She was hit by a semi, which threw her car into a telephone pole. Crews spent about 20 minutes trying to get her out of the car.

She was taken to a local hospital. We don't have her name or her condition.
