(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Hot, windy conditions and little rain have put Oklahoma in an extreme fire danger.
The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry says Oklahomans should take extra precautions in all outdoor burning especially in central and western Oklahoma.
Fires will ignite easily, spread quickly and be difficult to control.
Oklahomans should avoid outdoor burning when winds exceed 20 miles per hour.
