(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma House has passed a bill easing the effect of recently approved fishing fee increases on teenagers and infrequent anglers.
House members voted 92-to-8 for the bill that allows 16- and 17-year-olds to buy an annual fishing permit or an annual hunting license for $5.
The measure also allows Oklahomans to buy a two-day fishing license for $10.
Sponsors say a bill passed earlier to raise fishing fees from $12,50 to $20 is unfair to families that fish only once a year.
