Tulsa church raises it's new steeple

They needed a perfect day to raise the steeple for the new Asbury United Methodist Church at 6767 South Mingo Road, and Monday turned out beautifully.

The 80-foot tall steeple was put into place Monday morning. Because of the size, the winds had to be less than five miles an hour.

There is still a lot of construction to be done on the new building, but Monday's steeple raising was something many people had been waiting for.
