OU stays alive in race for tournament spot

(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma baseball team is still alive in the race for the final spot in the Big 12 tournament.
OU beat Oklahoma State 6-to-5 Sunday to take two of three from the Cowboys and improve to 4-and-14 in conference play.
OU is in 9th-place in the Big 12 behind 7-and-13 Texas Tech and Tech travels to Norman for a three-game series this weekend.
The top eight teams in the conference standings advance to the post-season tournament.
Oklahoma State falls to 10-and-8 in conference play and is in 5th place in the league race.
