An injured Oklahoma Marine is talking about what happened to him in Iraq. Corporal Kavir Dawani from Grove is among nine wounded Marines who returned to Camp Pendleton.
He was wounded April 10th in Baghdad by a rocket-propelled grenade that bounced off a Marine next to him, and then hit him in the face and hand. Dawani said he was really just thinking about the other Marine. "He had a child he hasn't seen yet and so that's mainly what was going through my mind, we really talked about his child and stuff like that."
Dawani says he felt like Mike Tyson had knocked him out.
