For the second year in a row, Tulsa's crime rate has gone up. Figures show reported crimes went up 2.5% in 2002 from the previous year.
Those crimes include homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny and auto theft. But officials say the increase follows 2000, which had the lowest crime rate in more than 20-years.
Officials say crime totals are often cyclical, and the economy may have played a role in the new figures.
