(Henryetta-AP) -- A former church music director in Dewar was given a 10-year suspended sentence for sexual battery involving a teenage boy.

23-year-old Aaron McDonald pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual battery. McDonald was formerly music director of Dewar First Baptist Church.

An Okmulgee County judge accepted the plea agreement Wednesday after the parents of the 16-year-old victim said they agreed with it.

The charges said McDonald touched the boy's genitals. Both were clothed and no sexual activity occurred.

As part of the plea agreement, McDonald has to complete an outpatient sex offender treatment program and register for life as a sexual offender.
