19th annual American Heart Walk held Thursday

Thousands of Green Country residents invaded Tulsa's Promenade Mall Thursday morning for the 19th annual American Heart Walk. <br><br>There were 175 survivors of heart disease participating as well.

Thousands of Green Country residents invaded Tulsa's Promenade Mall Thursday morning for the 19th annual American Heart Walk.

There were 175 survivors of heart disease participating as well. Including a 19-month-old little girl, who walked with her parents. Her father, Shawn Manuel, "One month after surgery she was able to come home and despite the doctors diagnosis she wouldn't make it two months, at four months she was home and she's been home ever since."

More than 100 Tulsa corporations got involved in the event this year, totaling some three thousand walkers.
