An armed robbery outside a Tulsa bar Monday marks the sixth parking lot robbery in a week in the city. A couple was robbed at gunpoint outside Crawpappy's bar in South Tulsa.

News on Six reporter Patrina Adger says twice in as many weeks people leaving this Crawpappy's on 51st & Harvard have been robbed. It's just one of the many robberies throughout Tulsa, and police believe they're related. Tulsa Police officer Andy Phillips, "I don't know if the individuals are targeting this area because of the trend or because they're working in groups or there's a kind of ring." But they're hitting various businesses throughout town, mainly in the area of 51st street.

In all the cases the suspects were armed with some kind of weapon, sometimes in broad daylight "Most of the victims have been women and in one case a couple days ago we had a woman was robbed while trying to put her infant child into the backseat of the car."

Last Saturday - a women robbed victims at the Stein Mart on Harvard, The Dillards at Promenade Mall on Yale and Drug Warehouse on Sheridan, all in the same afternoon. "We think she may be connected with the male suspect who's pulling armed robberies also." Now the latest robbery Monday night at Crawpappy's Bar has police wondering where the culprits will strike next.

Phillips says only carry a small amount of cash with you better yet, use a credit card, it's easier to cancel if it gets stolen. And look around beware of your surroundings before entering the parking lot. "If there are people standing around. If the parking lot is dark you should go back in and have someone escort you out”

The robbers have been consistent, only taking money and jewelry leaving their victims unharmed. "The rule is, the gun rules. Give them what they want. Hopefully they'll go away without harming you"

Some of the businesses we talked to say they're looking at ways to upgrade security. Tulsa Police do have leads in the case, but no suspects are in custody.
