Two vandals damaged football and baseball fields at Nowata Schools this week.

The Nowata County Sheriff's office says two juveniles drove a pickup through the fields early Tuesday morning, broke into the concession stand and stole candy and drinks. School officials say work is being done to restore the turf to prime condition for football games.

Police took two teenage boys into custody; one is a student at Nowata High School.
