Oklahoma State University releases details of a ceremony establishing a permanent memorial for the 10 victims of a plane crash last winter.

KOTV has sketches of what the memorial will look like and actual pieces of the memorial. It will be built of materials that are native to Oklahoma, including Oklahoma red granite and black granite. The display is located a little more than 1,000 feet east of the Colorado crash site.

The Tulsa sports architectural firm that designed the memorial says it's pleased it could help in what's been a difficult time. Todd Ballew with Gary Sparks Sports: "We feel simply that we are doing something to assist in what has to take place for people to put their lives back together. At the same time, we're creating a situation where no one involved in the accident will be forgotten." The dedication ceremony is scheduled for 11 AM on August 25th. It will be open to the public.

KOTV will provide complete coverage of the event.
