(Oklahoma City-AP) -- About 800 Oklahoma National Guard members now stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, will be brought home for the holidays by Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart is providing charter buses to bring the Guard members to seven Oklahoma cities so they can spend the Christmas holiday with family.

The soldiers will be dropped off Saturday at Wal-Mart stores in Ada, Alva, Durant, McAlester, Oklahoma City, Shawnee and Poteau.

Colonel Pat Scully says some of the soldiers are providing additional security at Fort Carson while others are training for deployment overseas after the holiday season.
