(Stillwater-AP) -- Oklahoma State University is seeing record growth in enrollment of international students, despite restrictions on student visas following the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Officials say the university has enrolled two-thousand-135 international students -- the most ever.
Manager of International Students Tim Huff says the shaky world economy is causing many international students to continue their education. Huff says, Oklahoma colleges are a popular destination because the schools are affordable.
Most of OSU's foreign students come from India and China. The university also has students from Japan and Pakistan.
