A Tulsa County meth lab bust lands one person in jail, and another in the hospital.
Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies went to serve a search warrant at a duplex in the 6700 block of North Trenton about nine o'clock Monday night. When a man opened the door, they saw chemicals used to make methamphetamine.
The man slammed the door and barricaded himself inside. Deputies went to get a search warrant, and the standoff was on. Sergeant R McClish with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, “the house is split down the middle. He barricaded himself in his portion of the residence in his hopes to escape, he kicked a hole in the wall and went into the other side.â€
After about three hours, the man gave up. Deputies searching the duplex found a woman unconscious, she was taken to a Tulsa hospital. It took crews several hours to decontaminate the scene.
Charges are pending.
