The hottest party around is headed to Skiatook as The News on 6 brings its Friday Football Fever Party to Skiatook High School’s football game on Friday, September 6.
The News on 6 celebrates the spirit of high school football all season with Fever Parties throughout the area. News on 6 Sports Director, John Holcomb, hosts the pre-game festivities along with Chief Meteorologist Jim Giles.
The Fever Party heats up a different community each week. The News on 6 will purchase Fever Food Packs for the first 100 people to the Skiatook Fever Party with proceeds benefiting the Skiatook schools.
The first 100 fans will also receive free Fever shirts courtesy of The News on 6. Skiatook “Party Pics†and video will be featured on that night’s edition of Friday Football Fever which airs at 10:15 on The News on 6. “Everyone’s invited to the Fever Party,†says Holcomb. “It’s a lot of fun, and it’s great way for us to meet people and say thanks to the schools and teams involved in our Friday Football Fever coverage. High school football is such a great part of Oklahoma. And there’s no other place we’d rather be on a Friday night.â€
The News on 6 donated more than $4,000 to support area schools through its Fever Parties last year.
