LITTLE ROCK (AP) _ C.J. Wilson pitched 6.2 shutout innings to lead the Drillers to a 5-2 Texas League triumph over the Arkansas Travelers on Thursday.

In picking up his first Class AA start, Wilson held the Travs to seven singles and three walks. The Drillers turned three double plays behind Wilson from the third through the sixth innings.

Mark Teixeira and Brett Cadiente each hit home runs off losing pitcher Rich Fischer (0-3). Fischer allowed six hits and four runs with four walks and five strikeouts.
