A company with both Tulsa and WorldCom connections is cutting back its workforce.
Electronic Data Systems announced Tuesday it's laying off 2,000 employees worldwide, or about 1.5% of its workforce. And it says the Tulsa office "will" be affected. But a company spokesman refused to say exactly how many people are being laid off in Tulsa.
EDS says the lay-offs are unrelated to WorldCom, although WorldCom is one of its biggest clients.
