More people are building new homes in the Tulsa area. Almost 350 homes were started in the metro area in May, bringing the total for the year to almost 1,800.

And what better place to get ideas than the Tulsa Area Parade of Homes that kicks off this weekend. The tour includes homes ranging in price from $100,000 to $800,000 and showcases the newest trends.

The parade includes homes in several surrounding communities along with Tulsa. It begins Saturday and runs through next Sunday, with homes open daily from 1 PM to 8 PM.
