A fire destroyed a home in West Tulsa early Tuesday morning. The fire broke out around three o'clock.
The home was engulfed in flames by the time Tulsa firefighters arrived. It's a total loss. The man who lives next door says the house has been vacant for several months.
Heat from the fire did cause some damage to other homes nearby. Neighbor, Stan Swaim, "I was definitely concerned about my house. It started to singe the trees, but they are too wet to catch right now. I would feel the heat all the way out 30 feet, 40 feet away."
No one was hurt, and Tulsa Fire investigators don't know how the fire got started.
