(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa's freshman golfer David Inglis has been chosen to represent the Great Britain and Ireland Team in the 2001 Palmer Cup.

Inglis is a native of Scotland and will compete against eight of the top collegiate U-S golfers this June in the Palmer Cup.

Inglis has placed among the top-20 in all 14 collegiate tournaments this season and has had ten top-10 finishes.

He was named WAC freshman of the year, first-team all-conference and three times earned the WAC's player of the week honor.
