Could a Las Vegas-style casino be coming to southeastern Kansas? The Osage Nation announced this week it plans to study the feasibility of opening one north of Tulsa in Kansas. Land has already been purchased along the Oklahoma-Kansas border between Caney, Kansas in Montgomery County, and Sedan, Kansas, in Chautauqua County. The Osage Nation says the casino would provide long-term economic development for the tribe.
