An unusual accident sends a teenage girl to the hospital as a pickup truck crashes into a Tulsa house pinning the girl underneath the vehicle. Tulsa Police were called to the 3100 block of North Iroquois around 8:30 PM Monday night. Witnesses say it appeared the driver of the pickup was trying to get away from someone when he lost control of the truck. The truck smashed into a bedroom of the house.

The 16-year-old girl was trapped underneath the truck for about 45 minutes. Her injuries are relatively minor considering what happened. "The fire department did a great job getting her out,” said Tulsa Police spokesman Corporal Dave Roberts. “I talked to EMSA, and they said she had a burn on her leg from the truck's exhaust, but that she's doing really well.”

The driver of the truck, a 15-year-old boy, ran away from the scene. He was captured Tuesday morning. The truck was reported stolen two days ago.
