(Tulsa-AP) -- The business of making music is getting easier for the Tulsa Philharmonic and the Sinfonia.
The two Tulsa orchestras are consolidating business management operations. The action is the first step to creating one corporation for orchestral music in the city.
G-Barry Epperley will continue as artistic director for the 22-year-old Sinfonia ensemble. The Tulsa Philharmonic will take over general management, marketing, accounting and production for the Sinfonia.
There are still a number of issues to resolve, including the effect on Philharmonic and Sinfonia musicians.
