Josh Heupel became the all-time leader in touchdown passes at the University of Oklahoma. The Sooners beat Rice 42-14.

In the most exciting game of the day, Arkansas beats Alabama ona last minute touchdown, 28-21. Robby Hampton leads the Hogs with two TD throws and one TD run.

Oklahoma State lost five turnovers and never reached the end zone in a 28-6 loss to Southern Mississippi.

Tulsa gets its second win of the season over non-conference foe Louisiana Tech, 22-10. Ken Bohanon rushes for more than 150 yards as the Golden Hurricane moves to 2-2 on the season.
