(Tulsa, Oklahoma-AP) -- Oklahomans favor Republican Governor George W. Bush to Democrat Vice President Al Gore in the upcoming presidential election. That's according to the latest Oklahoma Poll, which shows Bush leading Gore by a two-to-one margin in the Sooner state.

Consumer Logic surveyed 750 registered voters statewide in June. The survey showed that 57 percent favor Bush, 27 percent favor Gore and 16 percent were undecided when asked who they would vote for I fthe election were held immediately. The poll has tracked Oklahomans' sentiments for the presidential candidates since the first quarter of 1999. Gore has neve rthreatened Bush.

The last time Oklahoma voted Democrat in a presidential race was in 1964 when Lyndon B. Johnson was elected. The poll was sponsored by the Tulsa World and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.
