(Chicago-AP) -- Witnesses say the driver was yelling he couldn't stop when his car plowed into a crowded playground at a Chicago elementary school.
Eleven people attending an awards ceremony at the school were hurt. Several remain hospitalized tonight, including a four-year-old boy who has a fractured skull.
The driver, 22-year-old Lamont Prince, has been cited for four traffic violations and is being questioned by investigators.
Witness Sandra Taylor says the car came "real fast."
She says everyone tried to get out of the way, but there wasn't enough time.
