DEWEY, Okla. (AP) -- A 2-year-old child died when witnesses said she was struck by a pickup truck on a city street.

City Manager Bruce Johnson said witnesses reported that Selenas Peidra ran into the path of the truck. She was killed about 6:30p.m. Tuesday.

No citations were issued at the scene and the police investigation is continuing, Johnson said.
