(Washington-AP) -- Elian Gonzalez's father is coming to the United States.

The lawyer for Juan Miguel Gonzalez says he'll arrive at Dulles airport just outside Washington D-C tomorrow morning.

Lawyer Greg Craig says Gonzalez will be accompanied by his wife and another young son.

Craig flew to Cuba last night to consult with his client.

He says a statement by immigration officials Monday that they would begin the process of transferring Elian to his father persuaded Gonzalez to come to America.

Craig says his client wants the transfer process to start immediately upon his arrival.
