ATHENS, Ga. (AP) -- Deana Nolan scored 19 points, and the Miller twins backed her up while No. 3 Georgia hit 20 of 21 free throws in an 83-67 victory Sunday over No. 20 Mississippi State. Coco Miller added 18 points and sister Kelly 17 for the Bulldogs(23-2, 8-1 Southeastern). Freshman LaToya Thomas, the SEC's leading scorer, had 26 points for Mississippi State (17-4, 6-4 SEC). Nitra Perry and Jennifer Fambrough added 18 points each for the Bulldogs.
No. 4 Tennessee 65, Alabama 47 KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Semeka Randall scored 19 points and Kara Lawson added 13 to lead Tennessee past Alabama. The Crimson Tide (13-8, 3-5 Southeastern Conference), who trailed by 22 points early in the second half, rallied to within 14 points on Leigh Papisan's basket with 8:50 left in the game. But Tennessee (19-3, 7-1) used an 11-2 run to regain control at 58-35 with 4:35 left.
No. 6 Penn St 57, Wisconsin 52 MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Andrea Garner scored 15 points and Helen Darling added 14 to lead Penn State over Wisconsin. Penn State (19-3, 10-1 Big Ten) also got 11 points and nine rebounds from Maren Walseth and 10 points from Lisa Shepherd. LaTonya Sims scored 15 points to lead Wisconsin (11-9, 5-6).
No. 10 Rutgers 77, Syracuse 41 PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) -- Carlita Washington, replacing injured guard Tasha Pointer, had 19 points and six rebounds for Rutgers. The win was the fourth straight for the Scarlet Knights (15-4,7-2 Big East). Pointer sprained her ankle on Friday in practice, but Rutgers didn't need her against the Orange women (8-11, 1-7). Rutgers broke a 7-7 tie with a 15-0 run that eventually became a32-7 burst to end the first half.
No. 11 North Carolina St. 72, Florida St. 62 RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Monica Bates scored 17 points as North Carolina State won without injured center Summer Erb. Reserve Christen Greene had 14 points, Terah James 12 points and Ivy Gardner 10 as the Wolfpack (18-4, 9-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) moved within a half-game of Virginia with its fourth straight Atlantic Conference victory. Latavia Coleman had 21 points for Florida State (9-12, 2-8),which lost for the fifth time this season to a Top-25 team.
No. 13 UC Santa Barbara 104, Cal St. Fullerton 64 SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (AP) -- Kristi Rohr scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as UC Santa Barbara beat Cal State-Fullerton. Erin Buescher had 24 points and nine rebounds for the Gauchos(19-3, 7-0 Big West Conference), who won their 15th straight game. Megan Baskins led the Titans (2-18, 1-7) with 16 points.
No. 16 Old Dominion 88, George Mason 65 NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -- Lucienne Berthieu had 20 points and 14rebounds as Old Dominion remained unbeaten in the Colonial Athletic Association. Natalie Diaz added 17 points for the Lady Monarchs (16-4, 9-0). Shelby lynn McBride had a career-high 17 points for George Mason(7-13, 3-6).
No. 19 Arizona 65, Oregon St. 49 CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) -- Elizabeth Pickney had 17 points and 11rebounds, allowing Arizona to forge a three-way tie for the lead in the Pac-10 Conference. Arizona (18-9, 7-2) won its fourth straight game and remained deadlocked at the top with UCLA and Stanford. Both won Saturday. Felicia Ragland scored 14 points and Ericka Cook added 11 for the Beavers (9-12, 5-4), who lost to Arizona for the sixth straight time.
