The Blue Angels are calling off their planned performance in an air show this weekend, after today's deadly crash.
A jet from the Navy's precision flying team went down on a south Georgia farm, killing the two team members aboard. The Blue Angels had been scheduled to perform at nearby Moody Air Force Base.
Military officials don't know what caused the accident. Pentagon spokesman Ken Bacon says the F-A-18 Hornet was practicing arrival maneuvers and coming in to land when it crashed.
The Blue Angels' flight leader identifies the dead as Lieutenant Commander Kieron O'Connor and Lieutenant Kevin Colling. He says they were two of the best Navy pilots he knew.
