The governor of California and the mayor of Los Angeles are scheduled speakers at a Unity
Rally" Sunday.

Jewish groups in Los Angeles organized the rally at Cal State Northridge to honor the "heroes" of last week's shooting rampage
at a Jewish center.

The rally follows an incident yesterday at a temple in the Hollywood area. Someone spray-painted a swastika and the phrase "Jews die" on the entrance to a Jewish pre-school.

Meanwhile, the most seriously wounded victim of the Jewish center rampage is getting better. Five-year-old Benjamin Kadish has
been taken off a respirator and his condition has been upgraded from critical to serious.
