OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 35-year-old man who died Thursday afternoon brings to six the number of people killed after fire swept through a home in central Oklahoma City.
A spokeswoman at Integris Baptist Medical Center says Jerry Malilay -- the father of two of the victims -- died about 12-30 PM Thursday.
A 95-year-old woman who had been in critical condition since the fire early Wednesday died about 4:50 Thursday morning.
Two other family members were dead at the scene and two more died yesterday after being taken to area hospitals. The other victims are 13-year-old Ple Malilay, 14-year-old Noy Malilay, 14-year-old Carol Ann Malilay and 86-year-old Felix Malilay.
Fire Major Brian Stanaland says there were no working smoke alarms in the house and burglar bars blocked the windows on both floors of the two-story home. Stanaland says the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but says it doesn't appear suspicious.
