POTEAU, Okla. (AP) -- A Poteau woman who used the credit card of her 73-year-old employer to make a down payment on a breast augmentation procedure must pay restitution and fines after pleading guilty to exploitation of a vulnerable adult.
Diane Yarbrough was given a 5-year deferred sentence and ordered to pay about $9,000 in fines, costs and restitution. She pleaded guilty on Tuesday.
In her guilty plea, Yarbrough said she borrowed a car, lawn mower, money and other things while she worked for Clarence Martin of Heavener.
A LeFlore County Adult Protective Services official said she admitted she had charged $500 on Martin's credit card as a down payment for a breast augmentation.
Martin reported that he did not authorize the charge.
