Several Tulsa businesses help Tulsa Public Schools replace their stolen flag poles.

Someone cut down the poles at Jackson and Patrick Henry Elementary schools earlier this month apparently to sell as scrap metal. Monday, thanks to those businesses, a new pole was installed at Jackson Elementary School.

That's saving the district about $1,500 for each pole.

Jackson Elementary principal Debra Halley: "We all know there are bad people in the world, but there are far more good people than bad."

The flag pole at Patrick Henry Elementary School will be replaced on Friday.
