Henryetta Police are investigating a doctor-involved shooting that sent one man to the hospital Tuesday morning.

It all happened in front of Henryettaâ€™s city hall. According to authorities, one person was shot following a domestic disturbance involving a Henryetta doctor, an unidentified woman and the woman's husband. Witnesses says it appears the doctor shot the husband in self defense after he and the woman were chased around Henryetta in the doctorâ€™s vehicle and a confrontation in front of city hall.

Fire officials say the husband walked next door to the fire station after being shot. Firefighters treated him for gunshot wounds to the chest and leg, before emergency personnel took the man to the hospital.

Henryetta Police investigation into the incident continues.
