Thanks to many Tulsa radio listeners, several Tulsa area families will have a merrier Christmas this year.

Tulsa country radio station KVOO, the Tulsa County Sheriff's office and Tulsa Police partnered up again for the Christmas Crusade for Kids. KVOO listeners adopted 24 needy families and Thursday, officers took the time to wrap the gifts.

Gene Hetherington with KVOO: "The most important part of this whole thing is the people that listen, and they have really responded. We've got the Tulsa Police here; some of those are helping us do some wrapping, the Tulsa Sheriff's office and lots of volunteers helping us out. It's really been heart warming."

The Christmas Crusade helps about 80 kids in Tulsa County this Christmas.
