The holidays will be a little brighter for some troops overseas and their family members back here in the US. It comes thanks to a Christmas concert transmitted to US troops in Baghdad Monday night by the Tulsa based Vyvx Corporation.

From the Super Bowl to presidential speeches, the Wil-Tel subsidiary has pretty much done it all. But Monday night's holiday concert was a special treat. Not only did it feature music from Amy Grant and Vince Gill. But it offered a chance for some of the soldiers to talk one-on-one with their loved ones through a two-way interactive feed.

Derek Smith, Vyvx VP: "Rarely, do we have the two audiences coming back and forth, so this is a great opportunity for us to utilize the same infrastructure we have in place and accomplish this for the two groups."

The troops might have been a little droopy-eyed. The show started at 4:30 AM their time, on what was already Tuesday in Baghdad.
