OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State officials unveiled a new Web site Monday that is designed to give citizens easier access to state government services.

The new Web portal, www.OK.gov features several new services is designed with a focus on self service so users can find what they are looking for easily, with little or no knowledge of government agency functions.

It was developed after officials got input at focus meetings involving citizens, state workers and business leaders.

Some of the key features include a newsroom for agencies to publish news releases, a statewide calendar of events and an enhanced search engine.
