ANADARKO, Okla. (AP) _ Authorities in Anadarko have arrested a man in connection with two stabbing deaths.

Officials say Bryan Ashley, 30, may be responsible for the deaths of Teddy Wishon, 38, and Ricky Gomez, 42.

Ashley has been arrested on two murder complaints, said Jessica Brown, spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The slayings happened between Saturday night and Sunday morning at Gomez's house, Brown said.

Police were called to the house after the bodies were discovered about 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Brown said. She didn't know who called authorities.

Brown said Wishon, Gomez and Ashley were acquaintances.

``Apparently, there was an altercation between the suspect and the two victims,'' Brown said. ``We are still doing a lot of interviews and evidence gathering at the crime scene.''

Brown said Gomez is Wishon's uncle.
