STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Evan Frey and Jacob Priday had two RBIs each to lead Missouri to an 8-5 victory over Oklahoma State in a Big 12 Conference game on Saturday.
The Cowboys (38-15, 16-10 Big 12) led early and managed to even the score at 5-5 in the seventh inning on Keanon Simon's RBI single.
But a run-scoring single in the eighth by Frey broke the tie and RBIs by Trevor Coleman and Aaron Senne in the ninth secured the win for Missouri (38-14, 18-8).
Priday went 2-4, including a homer in the fifth inning that extended the Tigers' advantage to 5-2.
The Cowboys took a 2-0 lead in their first at bat as Tyler Mach hit a two-run home run to left field for his 15th homer of the season. RBIs by Matt Mangini and Jordy Mercer closed the deficit to 5-4 in the sixth.
Simon finished 4-5, while Mach and Rebel Ridling each had two hits apiece for OSU.
Kyle Gibson (7-3) allowed three hits and one run in two innings of relief for Missouri. Scooter Ricks earned his fifth save.
Cowboys reliever Justin Friend (5-3) allowed three hits and one run in 1 2-3 innings.
