OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Two Oklahoma City University pitchers sign free-agent contracts Monday with Major League Baseball organizations.

Cody McAllister, a 6’3, 205-pound right-hander from Snohomish, Washington, signed with the Boston Red Sox. He went 10-2 with a 3.86 ERA and struck out 94 batters in 88 2-3 innings this season.

Snow, a 6’4, 230-pound right-hander from Everett, Washington, signed with the Florida Marlins and is expected to report to that team's New York-Penn League affiliate, the Jamestown Jammers.

Snow went 7-1 with a 3.69 ERA and 54 strikeouts in 53 2-3 innings this season.

OCU coach Denny Crabaugh has had 96 players sign pro contracts during his 20 seasons at the NAIA powerhouse.

Two have reached the major leagues -- Freddy Sanchez, who now plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Chris Schroder, who spent part of last season with the Washington Nationals.

The Stars finished 50-11 this season.
