JAY, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Jay say a high school student was removed from class after making death threats. Jay Police Chief Mike Shambaugh says the student made "Virginia Tech type comments" in reference to the 32 people killed there last week by a student who then committed suicide.
Shambaugh says the student is refusing to talk with authorities and it isn't known if the threats were to one person or several or what the motive may be.
The Jay School District, located in Delaware County has about 1,700 students.
