Unseasonably cold temperatures will continue across Oklahoma on Sunday as a cold air mass lingers over the state.

The National Weather Service issued a freeze warning for most of the state that will be effective through Sunday morning.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of rain or snow in the Panhandle and western Oklahoma and a slight chance of rain or snow in the central part of the state. Highs will range from the upper 30s in the Panhandle to the low 50s in southeastern Oklahoma.

Overnight lows Sunday will drop into the upper 20s to mid 30s, with skies ranging from mostly cloudy in western Oklahoma to partly cloudy in eastern Oklahoma. There will be a chance of rain in southwestern Oklahoma and a chance of rain or snow in the Panhandle and the northwest and central parts of the state.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers in southwestern and central Oklahoma. Highs will be in the mid 50s to low 60s.

Temperatures will continue to climb Tuesday, with highs in the low 60s to low 70s. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in southwestern Oklahoma and a chance elsewhere in the state, except for the Panhandle.

Skies will change from mostly cloudy to partly cloudy on Wednesday, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in eastern Oklahoma and a slight chance in the central part of the state. Highs will be in the upper 50s to upper 60s.
