UNDATED (AP) _ Florida State has pulled off the first major upset in the NCAA women's basketball tournament.
The Seminoles have advanced to the regional semifinals with a 68-61 triumph over 2nd seed Stanford.
3rd seed Arizona State avoided an upset by rallying from a 15-point deficit to beat Louisville 67-58.
Georgia clobbered Iowa State 76-56 to join Florida State in the Sweet 16. Next up for the Lady Bulldogs is Purdue, which knocked out Georgia Tech 76-63.
Oklahoma also advanced with a 78-47 blowout win over Marquette.
LSU was able to beat West Virginia 49-43 after trailing 35-24 in the 2nd half.
George Washington and Marist also won Monday night. The Colonials pulled out a 59-47 win over Texas A&M while Marist earned a 73-59 win over Middle Tennessee.
