Friday morning rush hour turned into quite a mess for several Tulsa area drivers. Tulsa Fire officials say between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., they responded to 7 traffic accidents.

At an accident in the 3700 block of North Peoria, a woman and her child were rear-ended by another car. Tulsa Police say the driver of the second vehicle fell asleep at the wheel. The womanâ€™s child was in a safety seat and was not injured.

In Bixby, a school bus was in an accident on South Memorial near 121st Street. Bixby Police say the driver of a van was injured after coming into contact with the school bus. Police say the driver of the van refused medical treatment for his injuries. Students on the bus were not injured and were taken to school by another bus.

Around the same time, SkyNews 6 flew over several other Tulsa traffic accidents. A couple of those were rollovers and some caused traffic slowdowns. There is no word on injuries in any those accidents.
