BROKEN BOW, Okla. (AP) Two people are dead and four more are in critical condition after a head-on collision Sunday morning near the Arkansas state line in far southeast Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Martin Duran of De Queen, Arkansas, and 21-year-old Jordy Sanders of Stamps, Arkansas, both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four passengers in Sanders' vehicle were taken to an Arkansas hospital in critical condition.

The patrol says Duran was eastbound on U.S. 70 when he went left of center and slammed head-on into the car Sanders was driving.

The OHP says Duran was NOT wearing a seat belt, but Stamps and all his passengers were. All of the victims were pinned inside the wreckage for about 30 minutes.
