Tulsa homicide detectives are investigating the cityâ€™s ninth murder of the year.

The body of a 25-year-old Michael Davis was discovered early Saturday morning outside the Fulton Plaza Apartments at 4600 S. Fulton. Heâ€™d been shot in the head and chest, said police.

Officers are looking for a purple 1993 or 1994 Chevy Blazer. It was seen leaving the apartments between 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Tulsa detectives are also looking for 27-year-old Rashad Phipps, he is not a suspect, but is considered a person of interest in the case. Phipps is described as a black male, 5â€™5, 165-pounds.
