The Oklahoma State women’s basketball team will host Colorado Wednesday night.
OSU (14-4, 2-3) is looking to bounce back from a two-point defeat by Texas Tech Saturday. The Buffaloes (8-9, 2-3) are in the middle of a three game skid, they’ve lost to Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma.
Junior center Maria Cordero leads Oklahoma State with 13.2 ppg and 6.2 rpg, she’s also shooting 53.3 percent from the floor. Senior forward Rashidat Sadiq is second in scoring at 12.3 points per game, and she pulls down just under six rebounds per contest. CU has scoring power when Junior forward Jackie McFarland checks into the game, she’s the third-leading scorer in the Big 12 with 19.1 ppg, and second in rebounding with 10.9 rpg.
This will be the 47th meeting between OSU and CU with the Buffaloes leading the series 26-20. Colorado has won five of the last six against, and three of its last four in Stillwater.
The Cowgirls take on the Buffaloes at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
