The Delaware County District Attorney has filed charges against the lone survivor of a weekend plane crash. Brent Caldwell is now charged with three counts of manslaughter.

The single-engine plane crashed into Grand Lake near Disney, killing three people, including a 15 year old boy. News on 6 reporter Carina Sonn has the latest.

30 year old Brent Caldwell remains in jail on $300,000 bond.

"His bond was set on three counts of manslaughter and the case will be further heard on Wednesday to finish his initial appearance with his attorney and to do a bond reduction hearing," Assistant District Attorney Bryce Lair said.

Caldwell was arrested after a plane he was piloting crashed into Drowning Creek on Saturday. 15-year-old Mariano Carlos of Pryor, 20-year-old Eduardo Robles and 33-year-old Campos Gonzalez, both from Mexico, were killed in the accident.

Officials say Caldwell was flying without a valid pilot's license and OHP says it appears he was under the influence of alcohol during the time of the crash.

The District Attorney's office says officials didn't find any drugs.

The plane, a 1972 Viking, was pulled from the water early Sunday morning. Investigators from the FAA, NTSB, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol have examined the wreckage. They believe the plane's propeller was not working at the time of the crash.

Caldwell's next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
